Vancouver Employer Forum – Disability and Workplace Accommodation (September 2017)

Kent Employment Law (KEL) invites you to be a part of its ongoing Employer Forums, our resource for forward-thinking business owners and HR professionals.

For our September Forum, hosted by KEL Lawyer Trevor Thomas, we are pleased to welcome Lindi Frost, Director of Employee Relations at the University of British Columbia. Lindi and Trevor will lead a discussion on key issues relating to employee disability and workplace accommodation, sharing their perspectives and best practices.

Forum participants will also have an opportunity to contribute and ask questions, so that everyone can benefit from each other’s experiences.

Lindi Frost (UBC)

As a Human Resources and Labour Relations expert with more than 25 years’ experience, Lindi Frost has worked extensively in the area of employment/labour law, contract negotiations and conflict resolution. During the course of her career, Lindi has led numerous negotiations on behalf of the University of British Columbia. She trains and coaches HR professionals and administrative leaders in the field of employee/labour relations work. Lindi also has significant experience working in the non-profit sector as a leader and board member, with a focus on organizations that work with those who are most vulnerable in society. Lindi is a Professional Certified Coach and has a Master of Arts degree in Conflict Analysis and Management.
