Kelowna Employer Forum – Preparing your Business for Legal Marijuana (January 16, 2018)

Kent Employment Law (KEL)’s Kelowna office invites you to be a part of its ongoing Employer Forums, our resource for forward-thinking business owners and HR professionals.

Created for employers striving to “do good” for their employees, their communities, and the world, our Forums offer an opportunity to connect and learn from each other in a casual, relaxed setting. With these meet-ups we create casual conversations on difficult topics, bringing forward contributions from the perspectives of human resources, the law and plain-speaking business practicalities.

For our January Forum, hosted by KEL Lawyer David Brown, we are pleased to welcome outstanding local HR leader Alison Crick, Human Resources Director at Silver Star Mountain Resort.

Alison and David will lead a discussion on key issues relating to the legalization of recreational marijuana and its impact on business operations, sharing their unique perspectives and best practices.

Forum participants will also have an opportunity to contribute and ask questions, so that everyone can benefit from each other’s experiences.

Attendance at this event is limited and by invite only. If you are interested in joining us, please contact David Brown directly at
