What to Expect
This first meeting, which will last about an hour, is a chance for you to tell us your story and see if our firm is a good “fit”. We will explain your legal rights and options and recommend a course of action. If you decide to hire us to represent you, we will also discuss the scope and cost involved in any future work.
What it Costs
We charge a flat fee ($300 + taxes = $336) for these consultations. For any work we do beyond our first meeting, we bill our clients on an hourly basis at the particular lawyer’s hourly rate. We accept payment by debit, credit card, or Interac e-transfer or through our online client portal.
What to Bring
Please bring with you any written material that may be relevant, such as an employment contract or severance offer, any HR policies, or important emails. If you prefer, you can email these documents to us before we meet.
How to Book
When you contact us, a member of our team will walk you through a brief intake process before scheduling your consultation. Once that is done, we are usually able to offer you a same-day or next-day appointment, either in-person or by phone.
