Born and raised in the Okanagan, Ashley began her undergraduate studies at Okanagan College before obtaining her Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Art History at the University of British Columbia Okanagan. Ashley went on to receive her law degree from Thompson Rivers University in 2023.
Ashley joined Kent Employment Law in 2024 as an articled student and was called to the bar in 2025. As a member of the Kent Employment Law team, Ashley has learned the invaluable skills of effective client communication and advocacy. She has advised both employees and employers on their rights and obligations in the workplace, and has acted on behalf of her clients in negotiating settlements and litigating matters of wrongful dismissal and workplace discrimination. Ashley is dedicated to obtaining just outcomes for her clients and helping her clients navigate workplace challenges with confidence and clarity.
Outside of the office, Ashley enjoys travelling with friends and family, playing the piano, and spending the summer months hiking, cycling, rollerblading, and lounging on the beach.
