Kim was called to the BC Bar in 2000. She practiced general civil litigation until 2008 when she joined the UBC Okanagan campus in the Office of the Provost. In 2018 Kim left UBCO and returned to private practice at Kent Employment Law. Since her return to private practice Kim has focused on employment related matters in both the civil courts and before the Human Rights Tribunal and the Employment Standards Tribunal. Her broad experience in civil litigation provides a solid foundation for all matters related to employment law. Kim acts for both employers and employees which helps provide a balanced and results oriented focus for her clients. Kim enjoys living and playing in the Okanagan and has been involved with a number of non-profit societies and amateur sports organizations in the Kelowna area.
