In a previous workplace, Shelley was known as the office “Mom”. It’s easy to see why. On Day 5 at Kent Employment Law, she brought in a plate of DELICIOUS (and gluten-free!) cookies, endearing her to new work family forever. Always smiling and upbeat, Shelley brims with positive energy and an infectious “can-do” attitude.
As the firm’s bookkeeper, Shelley’s days are filled with payables, receivables, reconciliations, journals, ledgers, statements, returns and reports. Better her than us! Curious, quick-thinking, and solution-oriented, she’s just the person we want organizing and overseeing our finances.
Before joining Kent, Shelley kept the books for Vancouver’s Glory Juice Company and its five cafés. A Richmond BC native, she spent nearly 10 years in the early 2000s living and working in Las Vegas, where she was co-owner and operator of two independent jewelry retailers. Committed to healthy living, Shelley eats well, works out regularly, and straps on some old-school roller skates whenever she can.
