During her time at TRU, Ashley participated in various faculty of law clubs that supported local
community initiatives. As part of the TRU Human Rights Law Club, Ashley volunteered with the
Kamloops United Church’s PIT Stop Outreach Program and helped with the preparation of hot,
nutritious meals for those in the community. Ashley was also a member of the TRU Access to
Justice Law Club, assisting in the coordination of TRU Law’s 2022 Access to Justice Week, and
the 2022 “Holiday Food Drive Showdown” in support of the Kamloops Food Bank.

Ashley was first drawn to Kent Employment Law because of its progressive and collaborative
approach to the modern workplace. Exemplified by its team of dedicated and experienced legal
professionals, Kent’s empathetic, client-centred practice aligns with Ashley’s own innovative and
enthusiastic approach to client advocacy.

Outside of the office, Ashley enjoys baking vegan desserts, travelling with friends and family,
and keeping up with the latest films. Born and raised in the Okanagan, Ashley appreciates all
that the summer months have to offer and spends her time hiking, paddleboarding, cycling,
rollerblading, or lounging on the beach.
